Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Saratoga Springs Residents Directory receives when a visitor uses the reference pages, search boxes, or contact route. The project is a private index to public-record sources in Saratoga Springs, Utah and Utah County. It does not store a government roll, directory volume, court file, or vital record.

Data You Send Directly

A name, phone number, or address entered into a search widget is sent to the third-party provider that powers that widget. This site does not keep a copy of the submitted search. If you send an email or message, the contents and contact details needed to answer it are received by the operator.

Automatic Technical Logs

Hosting systems may record an IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps, referral information, and ordinary error data. These logs help with security, uptime, and aggregate traffic counts. They are not used here to build an individual profile of a Saratoga Springs reader.

How Information Is Used

Information received through a message is used to reply, address a problem, or document a support request. Technical data is used to maintain the pages, understand broad use, and reduce abuse. Visitor lists are not sold by this reference operator.

Links to Other Services

Pages link to Utah County Assessor and Recorder portals, Saratoga Springs records pages, Utah elections, Utah Courts, USPS, FamilySearch, BYU, the Utah State Archives, and other custodians. A visitor who leaves this site is governed by the destination’s own privacy policy, terms, forms, cookies, and retention practices. Sponsored search results are supplied by a third party.

Who May Receive Data

Hosting, security, analytics, and advertising vendors may process ordinary technical data when those services are enabled. A valid legal process may require disclosure. Search providers receive what a visitor submits into their own widget. No government office receives a message merely because a page links to its portal.

Security Measures

The pages are served over an encrypted connection where available, and access to operational systems is limited. No account, password, or resident profile is created on this site. No method of transmission or storage can promise absolute security.

Visitors Under 18

The reference is intended for adults and is not directed at children. The operator does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor sent information, use the contact route so the operator can review and remove it where appropriate.

Your Utah Data Rights

The Utah Consumer Privacy Act, Utah Code Title 13, Chapter 61, can give qualifying Utah consumers rights to confirm processing by a covered business, access data, obtain a copy, request deletion of data they provided, and opt out of sale or targeted advertising in qualifying situations. The Utah Commerce Division says a covered business generally has 45 days to respond, subject to the statute and its exceptions.

This small reference normally holds little personal data. Use the Contact page to ask what the operator has. Public deeds, voter records, court files, cemetery entries, and newspapers held by Utah, Utah County, or Saratoga Springs offices are outside the operator’s control. A removal request for those records must go to the custodian under the applicable process, including the Government Records Access and Management Act for a Utah public record.

Policy Changes

Changes will be posted here with the revised wording. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
